Sea buckthorn grows wild across Hunza Valley, bright orange clusters of berries on thorned branches that locals have been using for centuries before the rest of the world caught on. It is one of the few plants that produces omega-7 fatty acids naturally, alongside omega-3, 6, and 9 in the same berry, which is rare enough that nutritionists and skincare researchers have spent the last two decades writing about it. In Pakistan, sea buckthorn remains largely unknown outside Gilgit-Baltistan, which means most people searching for it are either discovering it for the first time or have been importing it at a significant cost from abroad.
We make everything in this category in-house from berries harvested in Hunza. Sea buckthorn oil extracted from both the seeds, cold-pressed to keep the fatty acid profile intact. Sea buckthorn pulp juice, cold-pressed and tart, nothing added, exactly what the berry tastes like straight off the branch. A berry powder that works in smoothies, yogurt, or skincare formulations and holds the nutritional profile of the whole fruit in a form that stores well. Dried berries for those who want the whole fruit. And a leaf and berry tea that blends the two parts of the plant together, gentler on the palate than the raw berry and easy to build into a daily habit.
Sea buckthorn in Pakistan has historically meant either wild berries eaten locally in GB or expensive imported capsules and oils from European or Chinese brands. What we offer is neither. It is sourced from the same Karakoram altitude that makes Hunza produce distinct, processed minimally, and available without the import markup. Whether you are looking for the oil, the juice, the powder, the dried berry, or the tea, every version comes from the same harvest and the same valley.
